XavaPro Starter

XavaPro Starter is sold as a license per developer, although this single developer can work from different computers with XavaPro. The license is perpetual, which means that XavaPro can be used forever without paying again. However, it does not include updates, which means that the version obtained at purchase is the only one accessible; to get an updated version again, you have to buy another license. The Starter edition allows an unlimited number of applications and installations based on XavaPro without user limits.

XavaPro Solo

XavaPro Solo is sold as a license for a single developer, like the Starter edition. It includes everything in the Starter edition, plus updates to major, minor, and maintenance versions for a full year from the date of purchase, although the license does not expire after the year. The Solo edition also includes the full source code with permission to modify it.

XavaPro Team

Everything included in the Solo edition but allows up to 10 developers to be added to the development team without needing to purchase additional licenses. If XavaPro is going to be used by more than one developer in your organization, you should purchase this license (or the Corporate edition).

XavaPro Corporate

XavaPro Corporate, in addition to all the advantages of XavaPro Team, includes email support and priority in bug resolution for a full year from the date of purchase.

Community support

Although Starter, Solo and Team editions do not include official guaranteed support you can get free support of XavaPro and OpenXava in the community public forum. Most questions in the forum are answered, many of them by OpenXava team members and many of them by other XavaPro customers.

Support conditions for Corporate edition

• You can send unlimited messages from an unique email account.
• You cannot open a new topic until the previous one would be closed.
• You cannot include more than one topic by message.
• We'll use private email.
• The response time will be 1 business day 90% of the time.
• The support includes OpenXava, XavaPro, Java, JPA and integration problems with Tomcat.
• The support does not include third party libraries (though their jars are included in OpenXava), integration with application servers or portals others than Tomcat, or problems related with your database.
• The support does not include writing or debugging code.
• The support does not include hotfixes.

Bug resolution priority for Corporate edition

When you report a bug we'll give it high priority so it will be fixed for the next maintenance version. We publish between 3 and 6 maintenance versions/year. We close a version a week before its publication.
