NaviOX 2014v1 released

February 19, 2014

NaviOX is an add-on to add user management, menu and a better look & feel to your applications.

NaviOX 2014v1 has the next new features and fixes:
  • Modules search in the hierarchical menu.
  • Bookmark modules.
  • Unlimited modules on top bar.
  • Fix: Code does not compile with OpenXava 4.9.1.
  • Fix: Frames are displayed very ugly with OpenXava 4.9.1 and the new renderer.

Modules search in hierarchical menu

We removed the modules search from Professional and Enterprise editions when we added the hierarchical menu. Now the modules search is back again in Professional and Enterprise editions:

Typing in the seach box is enough to show the matched modules, removing the typed characters shows back the hierarchical menu. The search looks in all the application, not just in the current folder.

Bookmark modules

The user can bookmark a module just clicking on a star:

In this way the user can choose which modules will be in the first level of left menu, just at two clicks.

Unlimited modules on top bar

Until now we have the limit of seven modules in the top bar. From now on the modules fill all the available space:

Very useful if the user is working with a 22" screen.
